The standardized KPI, 'Mean Time To Repair', can be monitored via the KPI Details page and also via the MTTR Report. Here you learn how to configure it in the Admin app.
From the KPI panel on the machine page, click on the menu option
‘Configuration’ for Mean Time to Repair. You will then be taken to the
configuration page.
Here you need to select an appropriate sensor to
provide input data for the formula:
MTTR = Downtime / Number of repairs
1. Status (availability): This sensor needs to be supplying data on the
current status of your machine. Is it actively running or not? The
virtual or physical sensor need to provide the following values: "0" for
"OFF", "1" when the machine is operating normally, "2" if the machine
is in failure.
2. The target panel allows you to assign a target value, which you want your MTTR to achieve.
3. The thresholds behave like sensor thresholds, when the MTTR crosses a threshold an event will be triggered,
which will be displayed in the KPI timeline, and may trigger a
notification if these are enabled. Keep in mind that because you want the MTTR to be as low as possible, the cautionary threshold should be a higher value than the 'target'; and the emergency value, should be higher than the cautionary value.
Once this is done, you have enough to click save, upon which your KPI will become active.
