The MTBF Report allows you to view the Mean Time Between Failure data per hour, day, or week, depending on the selected timeframe.
Remember: The MTBF KPI, is a measure of how long the durations are between breakdowns. The higher the MTBF, the better. This means your equipment is more reliable, based on things like the quality of the equipment, its age, or the skill of the maintenance team.
To use the MTBF Report:
- Open the report from the Reports page.
- Select a standard time period (this year, this month, this week, today) or select a custom period (1.).
- You have the option to shift the time period to the previous or next one (2.).
- Select the data level you want to display, which will change between hour, day and week depending on the selected timeframe (3.).
- The report will be generated in the form of a data table below (4.) This displays the period, the MTBF target, the MTBF value in hours, the total uptime time in hours, and the number of repairs. This allows quick analysis and comparison of the MTBF behaviour. This data table can also be downloaded as an Excel file.
