What is a Webhook?

The innius webhook has been designed to share specific sensor events with software such as Maintenance Management System (MMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems. This supports maintenance operations and asset management.

Whereas APIs need to be asked to pull or modify data, the webhook automatically sends sensor events to an endpoint once it had been setup.

The webhook publishes data based either on changes to a sensor value or the sensor status, which is either emergency, cautionary or normal.
