An introduction to the innius Operations app
The innius Operations app allows operators to manually enter production data that cannot be collected automatically from a machine.
Who can use it?
The Operations app is available to all innius users.
Which devices does it work on?
The Operations app is accessed through a web browser and has been optimised for tablets.
It also supports barcode scanners for fast data entry.
What is it used for?
The Operations app is used to enter data into manual sensors that have been configured in the Admin app. Typical uses include:
- Recording downtime reasons.
- Registering quality defects and rejects.
- Capturing manual production information.
- Entering values using barcode scanners where appropriate.
Because the app is designed for touchscreens, it is ideal for placing next to a production line, allowing operators to quickly record information as events occur.
The Operations app complements automatic machine data collection by ensuring important manual production data is captured accurately and consistently.
